BEATRICE'S STORY

UPDATE: Beatrice has been adopted into a fabulous home that she will share with Swifty.

Beatrice, also called Mrs. Beans, is a loving cat with lots of love to give you.  She is a young spayed female who has had her shots and is ready for a loving foster or permanent home.  She is the mother of Beans (also on our website and she is rapidly tiring of his high energy).  Beanie often wants to wrestle with her – and she puts up with it and always wins!  However, she’d rather have a quieter life and see him get a home of his own too.

Beatrice is a very affectionate lap cat, needing only a little time to get used to new people.  Although she gets along with most other cats, she can occasionally be dominant with other females.  She is a lovely kitty and would do best in a quiet environment.  She might do well with children if they are gentle and know how to act responsibly with cats.  She would probably be happy with a family if they were not too noisy and would., of course, be happy with a single or couple.  She would happily nap and entertain herself while someone is at work all day and would look forward to their company during their time at home. 

Mrs. Beans requires an INDOORS-only nonsmoking home with absolutely no access to the outside.  She is a very fast door darter and it is best if she lives in an apartment or condo where the door goes to a hallway!  She should have no access to a patio unless it is modified with no way to get under or on the railings.  It is great that she is active and lively, but outdoors she could get into serious trouble racing around and would not be safe.  She would need scratchers and climbers provided to keep her busy.

Beatrice Beans is an affectionate cat who loves to be held and carried around.  If given the opportunity, she would like to sleep with someone.  She is a soft and cuddly kitty who needs someone to open their heart and take her in.  We know she will find the loving home she deserves and we hope it is soon – as she is unhappy dealing with her rowdy son and his friends every day and wants a peaceful setting where she will thrive.
