BUTTONS' STORY

Buttons came to us when she was several months old along with her three siblings and mother Amelia Earhart (see Adopted Cats).  Buttons’ family had been living in a carport where they were fed by the woman who found them. 

Buttons was the friendliest kitten of the group and seemed to love human contact from the beginning, although she was still shy and scared.  She and her sister Sammi went to a wonderful foster home where they received nurturing and lots of play time.  Buttons rapidly became ready for a home of her own.

Her mother Amelia had been adopted into a fabulous home and they contacted us later to see how the kittens were doing.  When they met Buttons it was love at first sight!  They adopted her and renamed her Lily.  Lily is now in their home and has been reunited with her mother, Amelia.  They are enjoying a wonderful life in their new home where they can stay and feel safe and loved forever.
