CINNABEAR'S STORY

UPDATE January 2012: Cinnabear is in a long term "permanent" foster home and having a great time.  He loves cuddling up with his "dad" and gets a lot of play time with "mom" too.  He is a very happy kitty who has found a great home.

I am a big lovable Cinnamon Bear. I have beautiful and unique coloring as you can see in my photos. I’m a large cat but I work out a lot and I’m really quite buffed. I’m cocoa color with dark chocolatey ears, tail, face, feet, and unmentionables…sort of a designer look if I say so myself.

I get along well with cats who are well adjusted and confident without being dominant or pushy. Aggressive cats scare me! I do not do well with little wimpy cats either and hate to admit it but they bring out my bad side and I will sort of pound them… At the moment my roommate is a nice, psychologically well-balanced large cat who is confident without being a bully and we are good friends. He’s not too fond of people but he likes me. I do well with cats like this as we bond really well.

I am affectionate and like people, but I’ve been through a lot of changes lately and when I go to a new home I will need a very patient person or couple who will give me time to settle in and get to know them. Here at Helping Homeless Cats I was a bit hissy for a long time but once I knew I could trust them I have been downright warm and fuzzy. I let them pick me up, carry me around, and put me in their lap for awhile.

I’m too shy to go to a house with children or dogs. I need a quiet INDOORS environment (preferably an apartment or condo) where I will be safe and happy. I’m a lovely, sweet boy and need a patient loving home. If given a little time I will be your devoted companion for a lifetime. I am one of a kind and you will be smitten at the mere sight of me!
