GAVIN'S STORY

UPDATE May 2011:  Gavin has been adopted and is in a home with a very nice woman and her shy cat Star (who was rescued by our friends at Broken Promises Rescue). 

Gavin was a stray who was constantly approaching other cats outside to try to make friends.  Unfortunately, the cats in his area were very rough tom cats and he would be beaten up and bullied constantly.  He was rescued by a very nice woman who brought him inside and he eventually would sit on her knee. 

He came to us for neutering and medical care and he was very scared at first.  He was very shy and went into a foster home with other shy cats.  He did well and once again learned to trust humans.  He shows his affection by licking fingers and approaching his foster mom for snuggling. 

Gavin would do well in a home with another cat.  He loves other cats and just needs a friendly one who won’t hurt him as he is not dominant or assertive.  He is a real sweetheart.
