MAGGIE'S STORY

UPDATE January 2012: Maggie was adopted a year ago and her "mom" emailed to say how wonderful she is and how well she is doing.  We are very happy for Maggie and glad she is being cared for so well!

UPDATE: Maggie was adopted by a nice couple who just knew she was the playful girl they had been waiting for!

I’m just a girl who can’t say no – and look where it got me!  I had four adorable kittens.  Gorgeous, too, as they looked just like me – black and beautiful with pretty faces.  Now I’m going through the empty nest syndrome and adjusting to life without the kids.  I have a strong personality and optimistic outlook so I’m confident my best times are still ahead.  I’m glad I got “motherhood” out of the way early.  Now it’s all about ME and I love it.

I am young, healthy, spayed, and had my shots.  Life in the outdoors was exciting – but a little too exciting.  Now what I want is a totally indoors home, perhaps in a condo or apartment, where I can have a lot of fun with a single or couple.

I am very affectionate, love to play, and have lots of energy so I might consider a whole family if they agree to keep me inside where it is safe and comfortable.  I do like to sit in laps but only after lots of running around as I’m very active and lively.  When I have had my fill of fun and games, then I like to settle in for a nice comfy nap.

I am rather pushy with other cats as they get in my way.  I can be very intimidating to them, so it would be best for all of us if I were an “only cat” in a “one cat home”.  I’m more fun than any three cats put together, so can I come over and play and live with you forever please?!
