TERRY'S STORY

Terry was a gorgeous Maine-Coon type kitty.  We rescued him from the Pound as an un-adoptable feral kitten.  Terry needed lots of trust-building and was not fond of people.  However, he loved other cats.

Terry my (Linda’s) home and became friends with her big tuxedo cat Max (see photo).  They were best of buddies and played together and napped together every day.

Terry enjoyed his life and always found the most soft and comfortable spot in a room.  He was relaxed and laid-back – unless someone tried to pet him.  However, over a year he began to accept treats from humans and very slightly changed his opinion about them.  If a human had treats in hand they were okay in his book, so long as they didn’t try to pet him.

Terry was very photogenic and we have many photos of his time with us.  He was particularly cute when he would knead his neon green fuzzy pillow or prance around with his lion cut in summer.

Before he was two years of age Terry died suddenly, most likely of a heart attack.  We will never forget Terry and, although his life was short, he lived a life of comfort and had his best friend Max by his side at all times.
