TRIXIE'S STORY

My name is Trixie and they refer to me as a spayed adult female.  They have the facts straight but to call me an “adult” is pure nonsense.  I’m still a kitten at heart!  I love to play, play, play.  It’s nice here and I have my own room, a big window, a scratching post, good food and all, but I don’t get much play time.  What is life without play time?!  Bo-ring.

I’m a very unique looking girl.  The photos do me no justice at all and that photographer should be fired.  I’m both gorgeous and cute.  I’ve gained a pound or two while waiting for the right person to take me as a permanent playmate but I’m not fat.  I don’t have the space I need to romp.  I need to stay indoors where it is safe, but I’d love to run around – maybe up and down a hall or some stairs.

I’m not fond of other cats.  Not that I’m snooty or anything.  In fact, I’ve heard many other cats say the same thing.  We domestic divas prefer the company of humans to that of other felines.  It’s always so complicated when other cats clutter our lives – we spend ages working out who’s boss and when we all want to be boss it is chaos and upsetting to us and our humans.  So let’s keep it simple – just you and me!  More than one adult human is fine, but only cat:  me!

I like all people but have shown a slight preference for men.  They really know how to play.  I don’t like to play rough like a dog, but I do like some action.  I haven’t been around kids, but older ones who understand cats very well might be okay.  I don’t need expensive toys – my favorite thing is simply string of some sort.

I like petting and I’m friendly.  I will greet you at the door and hang out with you as buddies.  I’m not much for being babied, picked up, or cuddled.  Maybe down the road I would consider it.  For now let’s be pals and get movin’ and groovin’.
